All this means is that if you are Duke and play 22 of your 30 games at home and go 24-6 you may get lower seed than a school like Iowa who played 18 of 30 games at home with a record of 23-7.

It also means that a school like Vanderbilt who loses 15 games will be even more rewarded for not playing every game at home at the expense of a school like Southern Illinois. This will not help us in any way.
