UC should win comfortably but I am not comfortable with this team. UC seems better on Offense and Defense this year and, so far, I generally like the play calling on Offense (except for 3 Kiel handoffs) and Defense. I am not convinced the head coach will have them pumped up to play up to their abilities though. Miami should progress as a football team one of these years. I don't think this is the year that Miami wins (I hope I'm right) but I don't think UC will blow them out either (I hope I'm wrong).

UC - 27
Miami - 20

This team has not been better on offense than last year's team.

They've been much more responsible with the ball. Turnovers killed us this year. Aside from the last five minutes of the Houston game, that's vastly improved.

I'd say this. They haven't turned the ball over as much. Which isn't saying much, LOL. That's not the same thing as being more responsible with the ball. We could easily have half a dozen more interceptions. We've been the benefactors of some good luck there. You can't count on luck every week. Gotta start making better decisions and handling pressure better.

This is true. Turned it over 3 times against Houston but could have easily been 5 or 6. Could have turned it over more in game 1 as well. Purdue they did a pretty good job.

The area where we've really improved is defensively. The defensive line has been far stronger at the line of scrimmage (even where lacking pressure against Purdue) and the defense has forced turnovers, something they were terrible at last year.

I just haven't seen one area where the offense is in the same ballpark as last season.
