There are too many of us who remember the way he conducted himself at dook when they were using trick plays to run up the score. I think he's an egomaniac. He wouldn't stay around long unless he was planning on taking lots of trips to the beach and playing golf. If he was serious about coaching, he'd be looking to move on somewhere else.
Bunting has had some problems. Some of them were his own doing, some were related to the situation he inherited. He has shown a willingness to correct his mistakes, particularly in the area of assistant coaches. He works tirelessly and is on the verge of becoming a solid recruiter. What he brings most of all is his love for the University and the football program. In the long run, I believe that will make him successful because he is willing to do what it takes to succeed while maintaining the integrity of the program. I'm willing to give him some more time to get things going.
