Trump has helped stop 8 wars or so in the past year.

But in this case, Maduro is not a legitimate leader of Venezuela, and he refuses to leave. He lost a fair and free election with only 30% of the vote. This has been recognized by voting observers and countries worldwide.

Years ago he seized US physical assets and oil inside Venezuela, without compensation.

He has been running drugs into the US and elsewhere, contributing to the deaths of thousands of Americans.

Trump has been warning him for weeks, and putting an embargo on oil shipments and air movement, and striking drug-running boats. Maduro has refused to leave.

Maduro is now recognized as head of a cartel.

Fox reporting at least 7 explosions and multiple low-flying aircraft have been heard in Caracas.

The US is not the world’s police, it’s not our task to decide what leaders should and shouldn’t be in power.

If Trump is this passionate about stamping out drug cartels, why isn’t he going after cartels in Mexico and Colombia which statistically produce and supply the vast majority of drugs coming to the US.
