Understanding that a guy isn't cut out to be a D1 head coach is the equivalent to "pissing on a local legend"? Gotcha.

Neither were the previous two we had. One could coach but not recruit and the other could recruit and not coach. We all knew it would take Penny time to learn. Obviously the University has confidence in him.

Not that I am a Tubby fan by any means, but he did win a natty at Kentucky. It was with Pitino’s players, but he got credit for it.

It was for the last 13 years up to 2018. I updated it to the last 15 years up to 2020, giving Cal credit for making the tournament last year.
