Why would he do that? I could imagine him maybe turning down Indiana or Illinois. But, MSU? I think that would be a mistake, but we shall see.

Even though it would be an extensive bump up in $$$$ for him and a chance to latch unto one of the better (historically anyway) jobs in the BIG 10...

That fan base would burn East Lansing to the ground if they hired Candle after last season’s collapse. He may very well end up somewhere other than Toledo, but not for another couple seasons, imo.
