I can see why Weaver is mad. That was a blatant helmet to helmet hit on Williams with no call, again.

I will say, if I were Malone, I would have broken my foot off in Weaver's ass and sat him until half. But I get that presents a problem if there's no one to fill his shoes.

Ooooooh. Lost our feed for a minute, didn't see the penalty, only the ref announcing it. I did notice BL but didn't know why.

This game is playing out like expected. ODU hasn’t played well to end the season. Even the team that played WKU tight would have lost this game. But unfortunately this team is limping to the finish. The offense still can’t make critical plays and the defense is soft.

Nagy and Scott have to go. Neither is a D-I coordinator. We've been throwing that stupid screen pass for al least 2 years now and consistently lose 3 yards each time. On the other hand, the other teams throw it and gain 7-8 yards every time because we simply don't play up.

Hate to sound so pessimistic, but if we don't get some higher caliber coaching I really don't see us being much better next year.
It's not really yhe talent, or lack of talent, it's piss poor, unimaginative coaching. If Wilder doesn't make some major changers he needs to go too.

Nagy needs to be demoted to a positional coach since he can not be fired. Scott needs another year due to past performance.

Many of us who have been called names and pessimists but were very realistic in what we saw knew this was going to happen 2 years ago. I will add if things don't change we will be as bad or worse next year. I know some will say we have the talent...we don't. Add the non FBS caliber coaching and you get this garbage.

From my perspective it’s talent and coaching. We are still too slow / weak on defense and then you throw in the fact that guys aren’t coached well it makes for performances like today.

On offense we have to get more talented on the offensive line. I honestly think Brian Scott’s body of work in the FBS merits him having a down year. When you don’t have a line that can get you 1 yard when you need it, there isn’t much you can do as a coach.

Agree on Nagy, but I honestly don't think Scott has shown enough the past few years to warrant any more time. I know we've had turn over at the QB position and that makes it hard, but a decent O Coordinator should find a way to work around the problem. I have not seen one single adjustment from this man, not one. I think he can be successful with a talented offensive line and QB, but with just average talent, we need more. We have been outcoached numerous times this year. That is not acceptable.

Right now we're third tier CUSA. Something needs to change.

These guys know this is coming and that's why Bobby had ODU signed two year contracts instead of one. If Bobby wants to keep Scott and Nagy then its time we bid this awful bunch good bye and get ourself some decent FCS coaches for that pay.

Yes a clumsy way of going about it. But he's protecting his QB. That's his job. I only wish our other O-linemen were that passionate. Honestly, do you think field goals are gonna help?
