High stakes Planters Bowl matchup. Winner gets bowl-eligible, loser goes home and stays there until spring.

Would you have it any other way? What better time to beat Empty Sue than when it's winner go bowling and loser go home? I love it!

Funny, my family had the same conversation on the way out of the game today. It really is an older crowd which explains why no one is loud or stands up on the regular during the game.

LOL. I was thinking about that too. What the hell happened to younger fans and students? Geez that stadium looked like "country kitchen buffet" with a hint of south florida.

RE: ODU @ MTSU - TedHead - 11-18-2017 11:34 PM

I have been sitting on the home side for the last few years. My original tickets are on the visitor side. 50 yard line row LL. Crowd is much more rowdy on the visitors side.
MTSU has a good team but their QB is not as Mobil as Smalls today. Stockstill is a passer and can shred secondary’s.

RE: ODU @ MTSU - AimHigher - 11-18-2017 11:39 PM

What age would be consider a younger fan???? My group of 12 are 30s to mid 40s. Some of us do look a little older for our age! Gray hair, receding hairlines, two tone beards, glasses and some times a cane or leg brace.

RE: ODU @ MTSU - AimHigher - 11-19-2017 12:03 AM

It's looking like a few 6-6 may be shutout of a bowl game has there are only 8 spots left with 20 plus teams still a live for bowl eligible.

Students are gone for thanksgiving is one reason.

Was thinking the same thing. I have a group we attend with and I'm 37, most are mid 40s. And my folks and a few more. But we all bring about a half dozen kids under 15.

Lots of 20s to 40s in 102. Just the majority don't get up and yell a lot.

Now, the closer to the 50s, yes I expect older people. That's the long time donor and more affluent area. Not a lot of 20 something's in that category.
