We don’t have any other dual threat commits from Indiana. Assuming your talking about Brummett or Mitchell? If so, both said in their interviews after committing that NIU recruited them as WRs.
Jiya only plays QB and Carey tweeted that NIU had their QB for the class when he committed so it’s safe to safe that he’s going to be the guy.
The proof is in the film I’d say. He’s got the best throwing touch I’ve seen from a NIU QB commit in awhile. He definitely looks promising so it will be interesting to see how he develops. Height doesn’t really matter too much for a QB in this offense. As long as he’s over 6ft he’s good (not sure we’ve had a QB over 6’2” since we’ve been running the spread offense)

I was getting jiya and jyran mixed up. So Mitchell is going to wr potentially? I wouldn't mind seeing brummett on D. Put on some weight be an edge rusher or olb.
Have you see video of Brummett. Dude is freakish fast. Long strider.

Yea he does look pretty good. We definitely need somebody to take over the reigns before long.
Finally saw Wright video. Not like it matters but I thought he was black haha. I'd guess he's probably 5'11. Looks small even with HS players but not a big deal in college. Looks like he already has more arm talent than Childers and quicker too.

Standing next to him (Wright) I would say he is closer to 5'10 than 6', but who cares so long as he can play

When people talk size in any sport, it's usually a sign skills are not in question. I like his motion, more concerned with strength to take a hit. Just don't get hit!

Dunno. Saw a tweet from the beat writer at the Chronicle and I imagine he will cover. He's pretty good. Give him a follow...In fact, just noticed he said RC said Wiman is a "maybe" for the bowl.

Less than 5.5 hours until 12/20. About 16 hours to the presser.

I think NIU Athletics Facebook
DEKALB, Ill. – Northern Illinois University Athletics will offer extensive coverage of the new December football signing period which begins on Wednesday, December 20.
Coverage will be available on NIUHuskies.com as well as via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram as National Letters of Intent arrive for the newest class of Huskies. Signees will be announced via Twitter from both @NIUAthletics and @NIU_Football as their NLI is cleared by NIU's compliance office throughout the morning and bios on each new Huskie, along with highlight videos, will be posted on NIUHuskies.com. Signing Day Central will also go live on Wednesday morning with full coverage of NIU's new signees.
NIU head coach Rod Carey is scheduled to meet the media at 10:30 a.m. to talk about the newest Huskies as well as NIU's appearance in the Quick Lane Bowl against Duke on December 26th in Detroit, Mich. You can watch the press conference live on the NIU Athletics Facebook page.

IF Class holds it will be the best class on paper ever at NIU. Speed, defensive lineman , LBs, 6'6 OTs, ....My gosh I love this class. The last 2 classes are strong defense classes.

This class does indeed look awesome on paper. Now let's see them produce like Coach Novak's final recruiting class (2007) did:
QB Chandler Harnish
QB DeMarcus Grady
FB Kyle Skarb
FB Pat McAvoy
RB Chad Spann
TE Jack Marks
WR Willie Clark
WR Landon Cox
WR Nathan Palmer
OL Trevor Olson
OL Keith Otis
OL Scott Wedige
OL Joe Pawlak
OL Adam Kiel
K Mike Salerno
DT DJ Pirkle
DT Ron Newcomb
LB Pat Schiller
CB Patrick George
CB Chase Carter
S Tracy Wilson
LS Nolan Owen

If we are as 1/2 as good as that class, I would call the class great. The 07' off the chart good. How rare for a coach to retire leaving that kind of class for the next guy.

I can still remember Demarcus Gray throwing passes into the back of his offensive lineman over and over again at Iowa State. Thankfully he was pulled the next game.

That's a good signing day, only one guy held off. We won't know for a while as to why. Surprised no JCs. I'm expecting other late signees.
