A little Chill Out. This song takes a while to get going. In fact more than half the song before you get a chang up. Somewhat repetitive but if you want to relax and chill, it can zone you out.

Gracias for that song but also the memory it brings up for you. I guarantee the next time I hear that song I'll picture a young you doing homework to an 8-track version of it.

Even though that album came out in 76 it reminds me of the summer of 77 when I was stationed in Millington Tennessee in some open squad bay barracks where we'd bring out the 8-tracks and hit the base package store every weekend. That's when that album was really big for me. Was being played in a lot of the clubs in Memphis when we went in town.

I love the memories associated with certain songs. Some songs take me to the exact same place and time every time I hear them. And that's not even a bad thing.

Awesome song (The Year of The Cat) that was recorded and released in 1976. Well played UCGrad.......that was a very good one. Very classy.

Unplugged is one of my favorites from that era. Always can listen to this Bowie cover...

Sitting on the back porch after my first beer. The sun was not down, but low in the sky and I was just starting to relax and get a little buzz. This song comes on the mp3 player. It really made me relax after a hectic day for one who has been retired for some time. I got another beer and played the song again!

Nice song which I hadn't appreciated in that way before. It really doesn't matter what the song is. It just has to be the right song at the right time.

YUP...but I post that one a lot so... went with some others this time...

Today was beautiful in south central kentucky. I spent 5 hours picking up damn tree limbs from my mother in law's farm/lawn getting ready for mowing coming up. I always have my headphones on listening to music when I'm doing this type work. For the mowing as well. Anyhoo this came up. It's so chill.
