New Alt-J album, "This Is All Yours". More mellow than their debut, "An Awesome Wave", but more lush and multi-layered.

That would be awesome! I live on the second hill of the hill country headed toward El Paso. A stone's throw from UTSA. Let me know and we'll have some fajitas on the grill and some of my hand made margaritas.

I'm not a big Hip-Hop fan, but this I like! Nice sound, good rhythm yet mellow.

Just found this. Not so much for the music but the genius of putting this together and the irreverence of doing this to Julia.

Enjoy

Tim Hauser, the founder and singer of the Grammy-winning vocal troupe The Manhattan Transfer, died Thursday from cardiac arrest, band representative JoAnn Geffen said Friday. He was 72.

Hauser founded Manhattan Transfer, who released their debut album in the early 1970s and launched hits such as Operator and The Boy from New York City. They went on to win multiple pop and jazz Grammy Awards. Their critically acclaimed album, 1985's Vocalese, earned a whopping 12 Grammy nominations.

There are many covers of Tuxedo Junction. I always enjoyed their version. The Blazers' pregame fanfare is inspired by this song.
