I just want to know what your opinons are on the matter

Yes, and it's something I've changed my mind on in the past couple of years.

Not legal, but not illegal.

Arrest the pushers and those who sell to kids.

Have a "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" philosophy with everyone else unless it becomes a problem or starts to create crime in a neighborhood. In other words, adopt a "I better not see it out in public" stance but in your own home ?

Smoke and grow whatever you want unless it starts to become a problem for neighbors.

Regardless though, don't say I didn't warn ya' when if it turns your brain into slush or if it makes your kids even more stupid than they were when they were being raised by the TV.

Do away with the federal ban and let states decide.

I know I am in the minority’s, but I think no until more research is done on side effects and damage that it causes. Once we know what the risks are and it is publicized then a better decision can be made.

Jerry was a big time heroin addict. I doubt it was weed burning him out. Probably a cornucopia of all drugs.

How often do you think that happens to drunks? Do we want to guess on DIU related deaths cause by pot and alcohol? I don't do either, other than a beer sometimes at a ball game or while fishing. But not often to either of those.



I say legal and governed like alcohol and taxed like cigs. But then again I think alcohol should be taxed like cigarettes. But that will never happen because most of the politicians drink every day

Simply no reason for it to be illegal.

I somewhat agree. Why legalize something before knowing the health issues, especially after the long campaign to educate the public on the effects of smoking? Then again, I generally think people should have the right to do anything that doesn't affect anyone else. Just keep them off the road.

Oh, and before anyone else says it first:

Dave's not here, man.

Should be decided at the state level, though should be legal everywhere though.

I don’t think we need any more “research”, we’ve had more than a hundred years of evidence, and we’ve ALL been around it enough to make our own decisions.

Just make it decriminalized, no need to lock up a bunch of potheads, but as said above, keep it out of my (public) face, do what you do on your deck or your living room, and don’t then drive or do anything dumb. Like show up to your job delivering pizzas stoned.

Oklahoma just legalized medical weed. You can now carry 3 ounces on your person and have 8 in your home. Most with those numbers aren't just using medically.

But I don't care.

Tobacco doesn't alter your mental state in an appreciable enough way like pot.

Legalize it for legitimate medicinal purposes, but regulate it like alcohol for every other reason.

As someone who used to both smoke and drink, alcohol is FAR more intoxicating than pot.

I think it should be decriminalized, but I wouldn't suggest everyone start smoking high grade weed. It is psychologically addictive and makes most people less productive. Particularly those who wake and bake all day.

People who use it socially or in the evenings to unwind (like wine) generally don't show the deadbeat pothead symptoms.

I also think it has a much stronger and more negative effect on teenagers or early twentysomethings.

I'm just want the government out of our personal life on things like this. Put in laws that protect others from smelling it, if they dont want to.....I would be one of those. Put in laws on where it can and cant be used and laws covering driving while smoking/in system.


I know people that do smoke, daily, one is 50 and slows way down. One is 63 and still one of the best roofers I've ever seen. I'm talking high rise building in Indianapolis Ind.

We dont need laws for every little thing...especially laws that can put you in prison for using something grown in a garden

I think it should be decriminilized federally, as long as it's grown here. No taking it on planes or mailing it across states.

IMO, I think it should be legal everywhere but I think it's up to the states.

The real question is whether it should be legal at 18 or 21.
