Fit word is the cop was black. The PD is not releasing anything yet until they get a court order due to the recent riots and the Black Panthers coming to town.

The kid was supposed to have a record, but that's been proved to be someone else. There was another rumor that the reason the cop stopped them was because the QT that was burned down and had "Snitches get Stitches" painted on the side had called in two people shoplifting that fit Brown and his buddy's description.

I will slightly offend some people here and tell the truth.

Because white America believes most young, black males from these innercity/black communities are mostly thuggish, druggie, criminals that don't have their lives together and live off of the system. The sad truth is that stereotype is not only real, but very true for many in these communities. Given this, the first thing folks try to do is to show that this teen is not like the other teens from these communities. He wasn't "doing anything wrong" and the cops "had no reason to suspect him of any wrongdoing" unlike the other boys.

If you say the young man was a C student in high school and is going to community college and had an arrest record (I don't know if that is true, just an example), then the portion of white America that listens to sound bites will find that unsympathetic and you won't be able to propagate the "racism in America" crap. So, we try to paint a picture that usually doesn't exist. Eventually the full truth gets out and we see the person for who they really were.

Zimmerman Effect=Fail

The truth always prevails. Just shine some light on the subject and you will see what you are dealing with.

That's all I'm asking for. ....a federal investigation.

When these potentially politically charged situations occur, I will go to the HuffPost and read the comments. I've never been disappointed by the thoughts of the wacko left and this was no exception. One woman wrote that the looting was understandable as a direct result in a breakdown of respect for the law because of SCOTUS' Citizens United and Hobby Lobby decisions.

Here is the deal. In any situation regarding the police, the individual being arrested is in complete charge of the situation at hand..The officers will use the amount of force that is needed in order to subdue the perp. Now, ask yourself if,...."who is controlling the situation, the police or the perp?"

Feds have already said they will not be leading any investigation, they will be assisting the Ferguson PD with theirs if they want it.
