I wonder if that would even matter in the modern game? I have to believe the kids understand the fluidity of todays rosters and that the portal has completely changed the notion of "commitment"...for both players and coaches. It happens when they're recruited. You offer 100 to 200 kids(1,000's if you're Toledo).
If anyone felt alienated I'd remind them of last season's record. Teams with talent at every position don't go 3-9 regardless of losing their QB.

No doubt, this team did suck last year, and three out of the last four years overall. NIU isn't missing just one or two pieces. This team was sorely lacking at WR, LB, DB, and a good backup QB last year.
Remember when the Illinois head coach came in and said the team didn't have the players needed to win. They went 5-7 (a good season by Illinois standards) that season then 8-5 last season.

This team absolutely needs another WR with experience IMO. I wouldn't count on Rudolph until he suits up and plays a complete game.
It is worrisome that you didn't hear much about the WR during the spring which tells me that no one stood out. Not good.

Colorado was 1-11 last year. Sanders is going for a full rebuild.

Hammock was following him on twitter…that’s a *kind* of stat. He only follows guys he is after. It’s a pretty decent list of guys. Be happy if he landed a few.
