Who cares 83. We're not nearly as important as Tulsa. Just ask a Tulsa fan. "If Memphis is so great why are there 8 teams in the country better than them". "Think about it".

Why brag about how many fans you disappointed after they bought season tickets? "YAY! 16,000 people saw us lose our star player for a pay to play scandal and then finish 5th in our conference behind a bunch of schools that aren't bankrolled by Fedex! WOOHOO!"

Mr. Conspiracy. Ya know your record overall was the same as ours last year, 21-10. We were 3-2 against P5 schools. You were 1-2. Your one win was against the amazing 11-21 Vanderbilt Commodores.

Continue on with your parade. It was a banner year for Tulsa.

And we did that with how many 4 & 5 star kids that we over-payed somebody who can't coach to recruit? (We had one 4 star playing on the entire team last season to your 7 or so)

Would be interesting comparing based on seats. WSU sells out every game at 10,508 at Charles Koch Arena.

In general there are about 4 teams with really solid attendance compared to capacity in this league. WSU, Memphis, UC and Houston (at least since their new arena).

The rest ... not so much. (tip of the cap for UCONN going in the right direction at least before they left)

Showing their typical incompetence, the NCAA places women's attendance (as of this writing) at the men's attendance website. Here is the site in hopes they will fix it: http://www.ncaa.org/championships/statistics/ncaa-mens-basketball-attendance

WSU does a great job of filling their small arena. 04-cheers

Here are the figures:
Memphis 16,312
Cincy 11,100
WSU 10,315
Houston 6,718
Temple 6,425
UCF 5,049
SMU 4,395
Tulsa 4,043
ECU 3,931
USF 3,754
Tulane 1,743

And we did it with 3 of our five starters-out for a month(broken hand), half a season(Knee), and only played three games(Suspension/quit). The three game guy was the #1 recruit in the country. Those 4 and 5 star guys were all 18-19 yr old FRESHMAN. The youngest team in the country.

You act like you were the only team dealing with injuries. We sat 3 players due to transfer rules and two more barely played. Whine all you want, but your team underachieved BIG TIME.

Bunch of sellouts, I kid.
How long have you guys been in that building? I noticed WSU being top 25 attendance way back in the early 80's. Y'all have a great fan base.

Built in the 50s. It's been remodeled a time or two obviously. It was Henry Levitt area for the first half of its existence. Became Koch arena in the early 2000s.

Historically we've had great attendance for decades. even during the 90s when we were god awful. Averaged 6-7k through most of that period that included multiple single digit win years. >10k average attendance since 2003.

Wichita has a great fan base. I think we do too. Both cities are totally immersed in their college basketball programs. They both live and breath Shocker/Tiger basketball. Win or lose.

Yeah every team in the country had 60 percent of their starters out of the lineup. 21-10 my friend. Same record as you, and we did it with 2nd string freshman. We had guys out with transfer rules too. Stokes Anyone? Malcolm Dandridge a freshman out a big part of the season with a knee injury (Wasn't healthy the whole year). That was Wisemans replacement.

Tulsa-keep dreaming. Congrats on your 21-10 season that included losses to UT-Arlington and Arkansas State.

Easiest thing to do for scheduling would be to play a round-robin I guess. Was hoping to play Arizona, but St. John's and Texas Tech are high-quality out of conference games. This is assuming, of course, that the non-conference season even happens. No one has any clue at this point.
