Penny likes players able to man multiple positions and adapt multiple roles while defensively tight. I do not think the traditional understanding of positions apply.

Talent was there for y’all this season and last... Winning the NIT was good don’t get me wrong but the type talent Memphis hauls in and not going Dancing has to be a failure, I would think.

The season where we never got a chance to win the autobid and the #1 recruit was taken away from us? And this season where almost all of the games we lost besides Houston we were missing our engine in Williams because the NCAA dragged ass on clearing him? Or where if we had just gotten Houston at home and won the game we were still in despite the start?
