Involving notable leaders from local businesses and local government can attract local support for our program. Having a game scrimmage pitting Raita vs Scarbo is worth considering. That's shrewd marketing to whatever degree it works. Faculty and staff bring family members, few go to the football game all alone if they can avoid it. Somebody deserves kudos for trying something different. I hope it is a great success.
