A great idea and it can be expanded by having guest coaches for the Spring game scrimmage. Involving notable leaders from local businesses and local government can attract local support for our program.

Having a game scrimmage pitting Raita vs Scarbo is worth considering.

It looks to me largely to be an attempt to get the faculty and staff emotionally invested in the team, going to practice. That's shrewd marketing to whatever degree it works. Faculty and staff bring family members, few go to the football game all alone if they can avoid it.

Somebody deserves kudos for trying something different. I hope it is a great success.
