Not a slam on the poster, but the idea that that one has to 'register' to proclaim their 'Independent' status is beyond Orwellian to me. Kinda like the moniker "certified dumbazz" Interesting parallel RE: Laura Loomer files assault charges on Maxine Waters - Kronke - 06-30-2018 03:35 PM (06-29-2018 01:08 PM)Gakusei Wrote: Big League Politics. That should tell you all you need to know. Are you saying they got the story wrong? Do you have a link confirming that Loomer didn't file charges? If so, please provide. RE: Laura Loomer files assault charges on Maxine Waters - tanqtonic - 06-30-2018 03:45 PM I think that if Corey Lewandowski was charged with assault for the March 10, 2016 incident with Michelle Fields, a reporter for Breitbart News, there is the same basis to charge Maxine Waters for this one. Although I find there to be a certain amount of poetic justice in Waters being harassed like that I also have a certain amount of sympathy for her here. She repeatedly asked that the reporter come to her office to sit down rather than conducting an interview on the run. While Waters did indeed call for people to act the same way towards administration members I'm not sure the reporter should have handled herself that way. And assault? Come on... It's assault if you attempt and fail to put your hands on someone without their consent. It's Assault and Battery if you actually do make physical contact. If she made any motion towards the other woman to make contact, it's assault. |
