It's clearly assault. I don't agree with the reporter for filing the charges, but any of you, in anger, simply lay your hand on someone with whom you're having such a discussion and you can be charged.

I agree. It's assault but if someone wasn't trying to make a separate point I don't think charges would be filed, etc.

What a joke. Assault charges over that? I'm embarrassed for anyone cheering her on. I'd like to think if this were say, Mitch the Turtle, being charged instead of Maxine, we'd all equally roll our eyes.

It's not about conviction, it's about hypocrisy. What Waters instigated and what happened is proof that she can dish it out but can't take it. I think the reporter did right and is giving the Demons a taste of their own medicine...aka, safe space medicine.

Does anyone else see the stupid issue that one has to 'register' as an 'Independent'? Not a slam on the poster, but the idea that that one has to 'register' to proclaim their 'Independent' status is beyond Orwellian to me.
