OK.....besides my despair about WKU footbal this year, WKU is Bowl eligible for the 3rd year in a row and we've only been FBS for 5 years. Go Tops! Go SUN BELT!!

I don't have a problem with that as a matter of fact you have two tough games but both are winnable and can go either way. Good Luck fight to the end.

FWIW, WKU plays at Texas State next. WKU and Texas State are now the only two SBC teams to ever go 4-1 in out of conference games in one season, I believe.

.
The last home game for Army this season and they were fired up and played a great game today. Very tough environment to win in. I knew once I saw the start and the crowd this was not going to be easy. The Black Knights can be tough at times, I mean Stanford only won by 2 TD's. Don't sell em short. The last drive by Doughty was impressive and with all the interceptions this year I don't blame him for chest pounding. I don't see another Topper QB doing what he did today. 04-bow

sounds like you expect a cakewalk over us then. right?

i mean if our qb is chest pounding over beating a 3-6 team then you should have zero worries.

Wow, you're reply to my post makes absolutely no sense.

If you are coming from behind to try and beat a team that you should have handled easily, chest pounding is not the order of the day. If you don't understand that...just let it lie. I can't explain to you the reaction in my head on an internet forum.

It was my opinion this was WKU's game, easily, going in. You were behind the whole game. Act like you've been there before and just take care of business. That's my take.

Not once have I said I think TXST beats WKU. I think we're lucky if we get 1 more the rest of the way. You're conclusion to my post was so off base I can't wrap my head around how you even came up with it.

if you had watched western's whole season you would have not thought western wins easily. it shows how little you understand about football on the road. there are no 'cakewalks' in fbs on the road. especially against a service academy with 20+ seniors playing their last home game in front of a hyped up stadium.

if you had watched doughty lose multiple games this year throwing picks at the most inopportune time then maybe you would understand him being excited. he couldn't 'act like he had been there' because he had not been there.

your backhanded slap on western and doughty is how i came up with my conclusion. if western's win on the road against a 3-5 service academy let you down then you should expect a huge win by a bowl eligible texas state against such a weak team.....at home.

can you wrap your head around that?

Someone's a little slow. Why do you care about anything WKU is doing when in your previous post (#31) you clearly showed that you had no desire to even watch a game that was 1) winnable and you actually ended up winning 2) made your team bowl eligible for the 3rd straight year?
You, as a "fan", gave up on your team, so why do you feel the need to come to their defense? Why don't you leave the smartass retorts to those in your fanbase who actually care about their team.
