Gameday thread: ULM @ Troy
I've been wanting to start one of these threads.02-13-banana

I think we'll have a good game tonight. The winner will certainly be in a good position to challenge for the SBC championship.

Good luck to both teams and let's hope for zero injuries.

You guys know your team's strengths and weaknesses. Aside from the obvious, what does each team have to do tonight to win the game?

Score on nearly every drive, hold into the ball, and get a couple stops.

Man, crickets from the ULM crowd! I guess they are more worried about closing 2 of the last 5 colleges on campus in order to stay open.

Read yesterdays newspapers. ULM is shutting down 2 of the 5 colleges that make up the University because of budget cuts from the State. Damn people in Louisiana don't care about education. We constitutionally protect the budgets for everything BUT Higher Ed and health care, so education has to absorb the bulk of any spending cuts by the State.

I still don't think browning is 100% rather morel like 75% but that is still good enough to make him a true threat. That kid is a gamer and one of the most dynamic players to ever step on the field in the Sun Belt period.

He's closer to 100 than he has been all season. It was really amazing to watch him play and scramble like nothing ever happen last week. If we are clicking I think we win fairly easy.05-stirthepot

Every university in the state is suffering from the massive budget cuts.

While that is that is true some are positioned better than others.

I hope KB is available for the Nov 30th game at Cajun Field. However, I wouldn't bet on it. He's not 100% and they have to play Troy, Ark State and USA before heading to Lafayette. That's a tough slate of games and you have to believe they will be extra effort to get pressure on KB. I feel for him, because he's one tough nut, but I wouldn't bet money he stays healthy enough to play. Not with a quad injury.

Contain KB! Give him zero running lanes...

Every university in the state is suffering from the massive budget cuts.

We are currently in the middle of a massive construction process on campus, new student union, added 3000 new dorm rooms and completely renovated 2000 more. New covered walkways and bike paths among other projects. Phase 1 of our athletic plan will begin after our last home game.

I know we've cut a few admin positions, but nothing on the scale your school is doing.

Lafayette is booming. Check out this link: http://www.lafayette.org/site353.php

This is why we know we can achieve better things for our school. I just wish people would leave us alone and stop worrying about how we want to be branded and referred to.

He's 100% healthy. Amazing what can happen in 4 weeks of rehabbing.
