Huh? The Cajuns are 4-2 and 2-0 in Conference right now. Maybe you just worded that wrong?
Haha I kid I kid, I get it... #1 and #2 in the league. It just looks funny the way you put it.
I decided that A comes before U in the alphabet.
LOL, good stuff. Can't wait till our game next week, we need to finally compete against you guys. Although, if we play like we did in the first half tonight, I don't see ASU giving the game back to us like WKU did.
Should be a great matchup next week.
Our game against WKU last year was a lot like your game tonight. We outplayed WKU for the entire first half, but struggled in the red zone and were only up 13-0 as our big lead. We made some mistakes early in the 2nd half to let them back in it, and they took control from there.
We've all played games like WKU did tonight.

Yes true, but don't take anything away from what UL did in the second half. We completely dominated the line of scrimmage and it had nothing to do with the fluky first half on both sides of the ball. The better team won tonight.

Just got in from our UL party in Houston, I saw two halfs of football. In the first half, WKU owned everything except the turnovers. Second half was all UL. We got our train running and it was no stopping. Arkansas State Your are next!!

I'm not, I'm just pointing out that things might have gone very differently had WKU punched that score in to go up 17-0. Completely changed the game.

Congrats again Cajuns. The better team today won. We needed this win more than anything because with this loss our Bowl chances went out the window. With only 7 games in the SBC this year, 2 losses almost guarantees you can't win the title. Without winning the title, we don't go Bowling, regardless of record. Oh well, I'll still root on the Toppers and hope we finish at least 6-6 or possibly 7-5 to continue our streak of winning seasons going.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda. Famous words of LOSERS......The WKU fans got a full dose of BP thinking with his well we all know thinking. Tried for the kill shot, and it blew up on him.
Now of course people will blame the players, yet we know it is the coach who should know his players strengths, and weaknesses. BP failed to take those weaknesses into considerations.
In addition one last shout at the WKU fans. It is not always the Jims, and Joes, but the guy who is guiding the Jims, and Joes.

So, words heard at a local diner in Bowling Green after the UL game, " how is the basketball team shaping up? Bet we get to the final Four this time."

Ssshhhhhh......We don't have good running backs.
We don't its been said Harris can't compare to Andrews whom by the way is a good back. All this was said even though we lead the SBC in rushing

Apollo, we are going to miss you guys. Y'all can be as arrogant as anyone, but y'all can back it up. I like that.
Best of Luck in CUSA... You can probably dominate. Hopefully we'll meet y'all down the road somewhere!!!

You see, the conventional wisdom in Bowling Green was that it didn't count because it was rung up against Nicholls St and TxSt. I guess it counts now.

RE: Louisiana @ WKU Game Thread
Well after all the thrash talking and the game got played a couple of observations. Both teams are pretty darn good. The things that were said to be the key to the game were done by the opposite teams. WKU passed at will and the Cajuns owned the ground game. It can now be said both teams can run the ball and both have good running backs and line backers. Good luck to WKU in CUSA oh one more thing both coaches were so into the game that bad decisions were made just more by WKU's coach gotta take the points in a game like this. Hope you win all your remaining conference game and that you don't get screwed during bowl season because you are leaving the SBC.

Congrats to UL. You guys played a pretty good game and made less mistakes. WKU has to find a way to protect the ball from since less turnovers, UL had 20 points off WKU turnovers and that is a game ended for sure.

I said in an earlier post Jackson and Boyd should have been taking notes from #34 from the cajuns....He had the game of his life, I am sure will never have a game like that again either....Is he normally that much of a beast every game? Our defensive is jekly and hyde....WKU fans have seen this story before, we look like the same team on defense from last season when the second half started, all of the sudden we cannot tackle...Not sure why we cannot tackle with 2 really good LB's but we cannot....I am glad we are done with Tues. night games and hopefully no more nationally week night games at home, we are 0 and 2 and both were not even close games....Hard to watch considering WKU fans have seen this rodeo before over and over again...Same story different day, good thing next game is Homecoming as we should have a descent crowd for first half but thankfully after that just one more home game and their will be no on there to see that one vs. Ark. St..Most WKU fans will be ready for basketball....
