RE: Sergi Belov 72 Munich Games
Interesting history.
Collins was from the buckets mega power Illinois State. Tommy Henderson was a Rainbow, Mike Bantom played at St. Josephs out of Philadelphia, Kevin Joyce from USC (University of South Carolina) and James Forbes (the kid knocked to the floor by Alexander Belov) from a smaller school out of Texas was a poor man's Rodman. Kenny Davis, I believe was from a D III school. Easy Ed Ratleff played at Long Beach State for a very young Tark.
Aside from this game and Dave Wottles mad dash to win the 1500 m gold what was the most important/memorable event of the Games in Munich. If you are over 40 hold off and see how the kids do here.

Wottles from BG. Wearing a hippy hat at the Olympics. Priceless.
