The BOT has more important things to worry about like the Houndstooth Mafia.

UAH has gotten into a conference in hockey. They are in the WCHA, starting this season.

Yep and after uat was exposed for starting their own hockey team.

UAH and Huntsville were organized in their fight. The students and community came together to express their disdain for the UA BOT's decision. UAB and Birmingham haven't even come remotely close to showing the intensity UAH and Huntsville showed. They demonstrated a decision by the UA BOT can be overcome by intense opposition. UAB and Birmingham have shown they are not organized and they don't know how to fight against the evil empire known as the UA BOT. Part of the problem is the majority of the UAB students just don't care about UAB football.

It is what it is, and it's not good.

No, in some way you have to go through Seattle be it Minn/StP-Hou-Mem etc. My brother had to make the trip for his business 2 days of travel for a 3hr meeting & dreaded it putting it off for about a year hoping he could work it out through emails.

The BOT gave closeness of other teams as a reason for cancelling the team yet what they didn't happen to mention is that all $EC teams have club teams w/ goal being D1 league. Granted hockey isn't a big sport around the south but if UAH has a problem then I don't know why the $EC wouldn't either as they can't play each other multiple times for a whole season schedule???
