Looking at the interactive map, it looks like there are about 2k-2500 tickets left in the far reaches of the upper deck.

The difference between then and now was that I felt like this team had quit. We got so far down against UT and then could not beat a vastly inferior opponent in USA. This team has not been right since ULM homecoming. Even with the victory we had some major issues against Morgan st. Had 3 tos, a dumb drive extending penalty, played some weaksauce defense, etc.

Yeah I got mad after the USA game, but I still have only missed 1 home game (APSU) in four years. I have also made at least 7 games the past 3. Excuse me for being upset at piss poor play on the field. All I want out of a team is effort. I don't care if someone rolls all over us, as long as we always have 11 guys on the field giving 110% I'll be happy. I did not see that at UT and I sure did not see it at USA.

We have some of the most judgmental and self righteous fans in the world. I apologize for not being a REAL fan like you guys.

I'm going to have to stop you here. Yes, it felt like the team gave up and we should have won the USA game. That is not up to question. If the WKU team had showed up that beat UK, it would have been a win.

But to say that USA is "vastly inferior" to WKU in football is just not true right now. That USA offense impressed me. The team is much better than a lot of people give them credit for and they'll come up with some big wins this season.

I'm just as unhappy as you are about the performance of this team so far, but do not take away the accomplishments of teams that beat us fairly on the field.

Yeah. The team with less than 400 ypg, a loss to an FCS team, and giving up 39 to Tulane is a great team. You're right. WKU lost when we got off the bus. We were not ready to play that game. USA will win 4-5 games this year. Wins over GSU and Kent and maybe one upset.

We lost to Indiana State and turned the rest of the season into a 7-5 season. we started 0-4 that year. The first few games of a season do NOT define the team's talent and ability. the USA team we played played very well. I expect them to give many SBC teams fits.

They could I suppose, but I just do not see it happening. I was not all that impressed with them. That one qb looke like a stud, but not much else. We will just have to watch the season play out.

Put yourself in the shoes of a college student or better yet just think back a few years.

Passion drives us to say things we sometimes don't really mean. But a good rule to live by...

stay away from all things that put your words out for all to see for a few hours after a loss. That's not just for the young either.

After a loss I usually stay away from all message boards and don't respond or acknowledge most texts. I need some time lol... I definitely don't get on the boards and say things I'll end up regretting.

Yes that was my point, I did not say to pull anyones fan card, just do not go on a conf. message board and have 10 posts where you cry and whine like a 3 year old and say you are done....You look silly two days later when you are at the game....

god forbid someone looks silly from a message board...

silly or a hypocritical fool? Who would trust you to put together any trip for WKU alum or students in which you proclaimed to be doing or for you to be the voice for students and fans of WKU in which you try to be......huge difference....Unless your 3, age is not an excuse to get on here and continue to look "sily" or an idiot that you present yourself here and CUSA board...

again, why do you try to hold me to a higher standard? I'm a nobody. I spend my free time doing what I can to promote WKU athletics. That's all. I don't want to be a leader of anything. I fully expect it to be. I couldn't believe the last one wasn't. The lines were so full coming in, and the null was packed. I was shocked a thought we had sold it out for sure.

I never said you were anyone, but I do remember how you acted like you were the voice of students on HH and how you had planned all of these trips you were organizing. How did that go? After week 3 you said you were done...Haha, that is fairly embarrassing for someone who said he was getting a better student turnout this season and working with admin. don't you think? Think what you want about what I say, and what I do. You are not making an effect on my life. I'm done with this conversation. If you have anything to say, kindly send me a PM. You are continuing to try to hold my perceived sins against me solely because I try to give back to WKU. Your arguments make no sense. You do nothing but moan about what I say and do. That is idiotic. Why are you so damn concerned with who I am and what I do? What does it matter to you? Like I said, get off your ******* soap box, because nobody but you gives a crap.

As far as Saturday goes I hope the game is a sellout, but the 2pm start may prevent game from selling out...A lot of activities for kids and sports occur during the day...Wish game would have remained at nighttime....

There. Added to my signature so that the whole world knows that WKU does not associate with me. Do you want me to go over on HH and add it there too? Or will the conference boards suffice? You tell me.

western won't sell out.

it's what we do.....or better yet....what we don't do. it's our milieu.

we own it.

we are growing but it takes time. i was happy with the turnout last weekend coming off a loss and a little known opponent but i'll believe a sellout when i see it
