Today(Sep 21) slate of games
Let's get it back on topic a bit and talk about the now. The SBC has some chances today to take steps in claiming our dominance. We have two top #25 games in ULM-Baylor and Texas St-Texas Tech. A win in either would be huge for the conference, also games against the MAC, AAC and SEC. We have got to have wins against the MAC and AAC, the SEC would be a nice one too, so Troy, get on it.

And we have two games against FCS, WKU, I'm expecting a rebound win from you guys, Georgia St, I give up on you and am now rooting for Jax St. If they win, they get your spot in the conference.

Also NMSU has a top 25 game in UCLA, good luck....

And Idaho will be losing to Washington St today.

And Appy St will be at Elon trying to get that elusive first win of the season.

Good Luck everyone, and welcome to the SBC Jacksonville St.

Akron should lose this game easily. They are much more the team that got blown out by UCF and barely beat James Madison than the team that came within 2 yards of beating Michigan at the Big House last weekend. However I will say Terry Bowden definitely knows how to coach so any chance they have will hinge on him simply out coaching UL as they just don't have the talent to bridge the gap.

Might be surprised to know, the game features the last 2 coaches at North Alabama. Bowden actually kind of rode on the coat tails of what coach hudspeth built. North Alabama is a decent d2 school, but he took them from a 4-7 type record when he got there to the place where they lost 8 games over his last 8 seasons. Bowden isn't a bad coach, but rest assured, he will not our coach Hud. Still, I think it'll be a to much for Akron, and the Cajuns know we need this game and will be playing like it. It will be close for a half, but the Cajuns will impose our will in the second half using our deep running game and win with a 10-14 pt win.

Now your guys just need to make it happen.
