Well, gentlemen, given the week's worth of Fleck gifs and our loss to a craptastic FCS team, the writing is on the wall for 2013. I usually tough it out - even in Darnell's 1-10 in 2003 - but I don't think I can stomach this season.

Enjoy the fun, CMU and NIU fans.

Until hockey season, adios...

In all seriousness, I've always enjoyed the commentary with WMU fans more than any other MAC school. You guys are my favorite fanbase in the MAC. I've always pulled for you guys if NIU wasn't going to win the West.

I just can't root for Fleck.

How did that happen in regulation?

Cool. That helps the MAC.

Dear MAC, could you please, please, PLEASE put the Michigan teams on Akron's schedule next season instead of a gauntlet of NIU, Ball State, and Toledo?

Funny, since we wish we were playing you and UMass instead of BG and Ohio this year.

Maybe our ADs should go to the MAC offices together and work something out.

So is the OOC run-down?

AQ: 0-4
Go5*: 2-0
FCS: 2-2

MAC: 1-1, but I expect the MAC results to stay stuck at .500 all season long.

*Army counted as Go5.

Jeeze Louise, when you pay the FCS school to play at your house, fracking beat them. C'mon W. Michigan, UMass, even Akron beat their FCS school this week (even if just barely).

Well, a bad day for the conference...only bright spots were BSU's solid win over Army and OU beating a new C-USA team. BG continues to look strong and Tulsa won today, which validates BG's strength a little bit more.

RE: Week 2 Games Thread
Teams that are more awful that I ever expected this year: WMU and Miami. With the dismal results so far of Coach Treadwell the last two years (8-16 after inheriting a MAC championship squad that won a bowl game w a future NFL QB on the team), most of us Miami alums didn't expect that much this year but I 'm not sure we were prepared for the complete ineptness we've seen on the field....RB's running into each other and the QB, bizarre offensive schemes, and a lacksadaisical and emotionless Head coach who seems completely clueness as to how uncompetitive a team he is fielding. Our new AD doesn't mess around, and after we finish 3-9 (if we're lucky), I am pretty sure he'll be fired. (and rightly so).

should we be 'laughing' at WMU? No...they just did a great disservice to the entire conference

Why do we always seem to bury the best QB we have on the 3rd string? Wasn't Lefevre also a third stringer when he took over?

I think we'll be OK (5-6 wins) - not good (7-8 wins), just OK.
