A little help needed
Ok. I'm not much more than a moderate "techy". I ended up back in the hospital last night for another 6 day vacation with same issue on blood clots/P.E. pretty much out of danger and now trying to figure out how I can get Espn3 on my iPad. I get the Internet through the hospital for free on their wifi. Says I need to have an existing service such as AT&T Uverse, etc. any suggestions so I can see the game? Keep it simple 03-wink

Moto - ESPN has agreements with various Internet Service Providers(ISP) to allow them online access to their broadcasts. If you aren't using a particular ISP you may not have access. Who is your ISP at your home?

I am crossing my fingers I can tap into ESPN 3 via Time Warner Cable at the inlaws. I'm assuming this is pretty easy from the ESPN3 website?

Same thing with the watchESPN app, you have to log in with the credentials from your cable provider.

Thanks for all the help. Tried my Verizon account - didn't work. Took some of the recommendations and ended up borrowing a friends AT&T U-verse account sign in info - and it worked!!! Success. Hope it still works tomorrow. Now if I could get someone to sneak some beers up here....

Going to try this as well. I'll let you know. Want my own way of connecting in case something happens to my borrowed ID.

Moto, best wishes to you. If you can't get the beers at least recruit a couple of cute nurses - tell them you need cheerleaders to make the atmosphere more conducive to watching the game. Which of course will help with recovery.

Highly effective treatment for blood clots is nurse wrestling.

Can't hurt?

All the best!

Hadn't heard this but I called the hospital and they got a couple nurses to volunteer. Kurt and Percy wiill be down to see you right before the game. Take care of yourself and I hope a Rocket victory proves to be the best medicine.

RE: A little help needed
Thanks guys.

All the cute nurses disappeared on Friday... Got the game on ESPN3 and watched while having blood drawn 3 separate times.

Hoping they figure this out soon. This is no way to live and the prospect of what it could be is unsettling to say the least. the good thing is it was 13 years between incidents - the bad thing is it was just 3 weeks since the last one.

One more thing -

Worst.....tailgating......food.....ever

thanks Pat.

Looking forward to getting down there for your mom's pulled pork, but not likely to make it for 9/14 game.
