If you do not mind disclosing over the interwebz. Why do you have it and how hard was it to get?

Very easy for clean record holders in Oklahoma, In AZ you don't need anything. You can walk in to a gun store, buy a gun, hide it under your jacket and walk out. You can even have it in your car - loaded - with no permit.

I had to get one because most of the posters on this board had one.

NC is easy. Quick and cheap class, SBI fingerprint check, and paper application at Sherriff's Office in the county you reside in. Price varies by county.

Because the first rule of having a concealed carry permit is not to let others know you have one.

You get a gun permit in TN...you can then carry however you like.

12 hour class...qualify with your gun at a range...pay for your background check...get fingerprinted...start carrying.

Either that or Shreveport, but it doesn't matter... Felons get arrested daily there for illegal possession of a firearm...

I have a TN carry permit and it was a 8 hour class for me. 12 hours would be a bit much imo

The only class we have is a hunter safety course that is 3 hours a day for 3 days. It's not required for a conceal and carry but I think it is mandatory for people getting their hunting license for the first time.
