That may take some "luck", but we'll be competitive, the "uniqueness" of our offense will help, but while we will be up to correct number of scholarships they will be young, will be interesting.

FYI: Jokes aside, I think GSU and APP will somewhere around middle of the pack starting out. Using WKU as an example is totally bogus. WKU was the only team that transitioned to do that bad and it wasn't even close. So lets leave behind all the "Lets ask WKU about moving up to FBS." There was a chart posted here with transitional team comparisons where WKU was clearly the worst transitional team to ever exist; short term (and selective) memory is rampant around these parts. These two teams probably won't dominate from the start, but they won't be piss ons.

When I was a student we were known for our computer science program and attracted students from around the world. I think that has diminished somewhat and I honestly don't know what our crowning jewel is today.

Sports wise we were once part of the Gulf Coast Conference, Southland Conference and now the Sunbelt. We were once national known for our basketball program and once was rated #4 in the nation. That's before the death penalty.

They haven't proven they can dominate Lambuth yet, I'd like to think GA SOUTHERN's starting point is well ahead of GASt, not sure their location is such a great thing, as it hasn't really helped GA TECH. They tried quick and easy touting Bill Curry and Da Dome, not really successful, they are ahead of where they were with the present staff, there is room in GA for all these programs to be successful and I hope they can recover from the Curry Error, to have a rivalry you need a rival, that will be the SBC strength, I see alot of passionate rivalries. I don't think we are as delusional as GA STATE and ODU about coming in as world beaters, but we will compete.
