Conrad (Bull Trojan) tweeted that he thought Buffalo had been forgotten about to which Myerberg said "If I think Bulls are a bowl team, gotta be in the top 76 or so."

So expect UB at 76 or 75..

Well by the clue, they shouldn't be #77, so #76 is the earliest New York will come in.

If Paul thinks they are a bowl team they should probably be closer to #70 (70 teams go to bowls). We should find out soon.

Some teams are in eligible for bowls and some schools may be better yet have worse records and not be bowl eligible, so 75-76 is possible.

I think that Nevada is next at #76.

Quote:UP NEXT

— Who is No. 76?
This university featured the only college coach outside the Dakotas with a last name beginning with two vowels to win more than 230 games.

Chris Ault compiled a 233–109–1 record at Nevada.

Western Kentucky is #75.

The NEW YORK Bulls are next at #74.

Not to be too macabre, but this university's first chancellor is buried in the same cemetery as a singer who charted two top-16 singles, with the first in the fall of 1981.

13th President of the U.S.A., Millard Fillmore was also the first chancellor of the University and is buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo, NY.

"Super Freak" Rick James (*****!) is also buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Rick James had two Top-16 singles BUT the second one was "Super Freak" which peaked at #16 in the Fall of 1981. The first one was actually "You and I" and peaked at #13 in 1978.

No. 74: NEW YORK (MAC) - Summary and link to full preview in the original post (Link here also).

Indiana is next at #73.

Quote:UP NEXT

— Who is No. 73?
This program has one winning season in the past 18 years.

EDIT: I thought it was UL-Monroe at first, but Indiana fits the clue perfectly. One winning season in 18 years. The Warhawks, as you can see below, are worse off.

It's even worse for the Warhawks, by my count they have one winning season in the last 19 years.

He's out of his mind.

Here's how UB will fare:

at tOSU L
at Baylor L
Stony Brook W
UConn L
EMU W
at WMU L
UMass W
at Kent L
Ohio L
at Toledo L
at Miami L
BGSU L

They might be able to steal a win or two, but not three and they're just as capable of losing one of those games they're supposed to win.

His 2-2 OOC prediction looks about right. The Bulls should be able to win at home against FCS Stony Brook and "FCS last week" UConn.

5-3 in the MAC looks about right. 7-5 and bowl eligible.

I think he may have forgotten about Indiana. They appear to be next but I'm having a real hard time finding more than 4 wins on their schedule. They really should have shown up a much earlier.

Wilson is building a decent (at least for IU standards) program in Bloomington. I've read that he's a "my way or the highway" kind of coach, and usually in year three those kind of guys get results as their players come in. There's some talent over there, I think a bowl is very possible.

I know that the Cartel is trying every possible to get its 4-8 teams into bowls, but unless I missed something a team will still need six victories. I just don't see them on Indiana's schedule.

Wake Forest is next at #72.

Quote:UP NEXT

— Who is No. 72?
The third coach in this program's history is responsible for its only undefeated season when playing more than one game.

Wake Forest has gone undefeated 3 times and 2 of those times only 1 game was played.

Walter Sikes was the third coach in Wake Forest history and he coached one of those 1-game seasons along with the 1892 4-0-1 season.

San Jose State is next at #70.

Quote:UP NEXT

— Who is No. 70?
This university was the first in the United States to create a degree program designed to train police officers.

In 1930, San Jose State College established its two-year curriculum plan and ultimately expanded it into a four-year degree-granting program.

The last forward from this university to be taken among the top 10 picks in the NBA draft went on to become a four-time All-Star, which bodes well for a prospect set to be taken very high on June 27.

Shawn Marion chosen #9 in 1999, 4 time All-Star.

Anthony Bennett projected very high.

Went #1 overall.

Well they did lose their coach to Colorado, that can sometimes take a developing program down. Maybe the MWC switch has something to do with it too.

The "at least six games" allows several teams to fit the clue including Iowa, Texas, Virginia Tech, Arizona, and BG.

Maryland is interesting because the coach comes into this season having back-to-back losing seasons and Maryland would fit the clue if there was a "coaching a FBS team" qualifier.

Quote:UP NEXT

— Who is No. 69?
This program's coach has suffered back-to-back losing seasons twice in his career. Each time, he's won at least six games the following year.

EDIT: Iowa turned out to be #69.

Texas Tech is next at #68.

Quote:UP NEXT

As an NFL draft pick, this program's coach was selected one spot after a quarterback from the Big Ten and one spot before a defensive back from the SEC.

Kliff Kingsbury was selected #201 overall in the 2003 NFL Draft one spot after Wisconsin QB Brooks Bollinger and one spot before Alabama DB Waine Bacon .
