Every single team in FBS has a point system. It really is a matter of expanding the stadium.
That is an issue Mr. Falwell and his school will likely never have to deal with.

This guy, Jenkins, is the same guy who thinks our Roads, Schools, Police, Fire Department should all run on AIR and that tax dollars are not needed for these expenses.

RE: ODU fans???
Pretty much just going to echo most of the sentiments already mentioned but I don't see the issue here. The demand for season tickets is so high that the school is having to turn people away. Are they going to turn away the people that have been loyal donors for years or their high dollar donors? No. So the ones that just want to buy tickets without donating are going to be the ones who get turned away. Sucks but makes perfect sense.

I prefer beer... but the point stands that pro sports have treated Norfolk like herpes.

No, they run on 50% of my pay since 47% of you don't pay a dime... but this is not a political forum and your comment violates the AUP.

This is why I detest your ilk, whichever religion they represent. You think you have all the answers, but in reality all you have are beliefs with which you attempt to threaten, guilt, and judge all others. Like you, and all other humans, I don't know what the "afterlife" holds, or if there is one. I do know if there is a choice between a "heaven" populated by Liberty fans, and "hell" filled with ODU fans, I would choose to burn six days a week and twice on Sunday. But this is not a religious forum and YOUR comment violates AUP, you "holier than thou" POS.

I think it was Bill Hicks that said if rock music is the music of the devil then hell sounds much more fun than heaven.

And with a 20,000 seat stadium, we have been like a crowded restaurant that access is bought with familiarity. That has served us well with a very loyal fanbase for the first 4 years, at the expense of generating non-ODU connected fans in the process. If we are to succeed at a stadium level of 35k and up, ODU will need to market folks like the gentlemen in this letter........there should be room for all, with benefits for those that contribute well, but decent access for those that are classified casual fans.
BTW, this is a great problem to have. Imagine framing this argument for a Georgia State fan.....
Everyone has to weigh their own situation and figure out what options work best for their program. For ODU that was using an existing OCS. For GSU A municipal stadium 2 blocks from campus was by far the best of the available options.
