Spring Game Talk
How many people were at last years Spring Game?
If weather holds up, what about this years Spring Game?
Is there a student section?
Do you want this game to be high scoring or low scoring?

My players to watch:
#24 RB Jones-Moore
#15 QB Woodside
#44 LB Coleman
#12 S Larkins
#42 TE Runyan

It's stupid to have this game on Friday night. What's wrong with Saturday afternoon when more people can come (including recruits) and there's a chance it will be warmer?

Agree!!! A chance to break out the Jambulance and tailgate. Can't do that on a Friday with work.

I hope Jones and Adams are both able to play in the UF game.

RE: Spring Game Talk
I plan on going to it. It seems like over the past few years, once Beckman took over, the Spring Game has been slowly growing. Hopefully that trend continues. The weather isn't supposed to be too bad for tomorrow (high: 51, low:37, 20% chance of rain), but unfortunately it won't be in the 70s like it was for a couple days this week. UT baseball plays bgSUCKS at 3:05 tomorrow - I wish that was a little later at 3:30 or 4, that way people could go to that, then right to the Spring Game. Being a 3pm game, it'll most likely be over by 5:30-6.

Saturday is a national testing day for the ACTs and would help some of the recruits who may still be trying to qualify but yes the chance of better weather on a Saturday afternoon is better than a Friday night.

RE: Spring Game Talk
Weather wise this one goes down as one of the more miserable ones I can remember. Think late Oct/Nov weather in Toledo.

I thought TO looked very sharp. Liked Woodside, too, although you can tell he's still adjusting to the speed at this level. You could see the explosiveness of Jones-Moore. Ricky Pringle showed some nice moves, too. Larkins...wow, he just about could play on both sides of the ball. That's about all I can say as I had difficulty concentrating because I was so frickin' cold!

BTW, I hope the guy who was the PA announcer will not be doing the announcing during the season. Awful!

Dan Saevig, Associate VP for Alumni Affairs was the announcer.

Classic line, "3rd and all of I-75 to go" when the Blue Tean was going backwards in large chunks.

I did like that line. And that possession by the blue team was the worst possession I've ever seen.

RE: Spring Game Talk
there's more talk about the Gators spring game that UT's. What's up with that? There is more talk in The Blade than on here.
