Does anyone seriously think the GOP will let that happen?

I think Rand Paul is a case history on how they are powerless against a liberty wing candidate that can pull the nationwide Ron Paul network in a statewide race. And make no mistake -- Amash has universal support. If Ron Paul sends a mailer to his donor list ... Amash will get $3 million in a week.

We can hope we say Senator Amash, though there's a long time between now and 2014.

RE: Senator Justin Amash?
Rick Snyder is sitting on a -17 approval rating and currently trails by healthy margins in all potential contests. That's going to be a major drag on all GOPers.
