Kilpatrick's shooting percentages for the year tell so much of the story. A guy with touch as good a Kilpatrick should not shoot 30% from three and under 40% from the field. This team missed shots, because it ran bad offense. That simple.

Team missed shots because most of our starters are just role players on decent teams.

So by extrapolation, Cincy isn't even a decent team. Pitiful.

Correct. Have you watched them this year?

Correct? Cincy doesn't even have a decent team? Have you ever been a fan of them?

I've been a fan and am an alum for a long time. If you ever read any of my posts on here you wouldn't even ask such a silly question.

At some point you need to take off your rosy glasses and be even a little bit objective.

What do you consider to be a decent team? AP Top 25 maybe? Cincy lost by 3 to one of them. Is Creighton a decent team?

Seven AP Top 25 teams lost their first game. Six of those lost to teams seeded 11-15. Were they decent teams?

Everyone that used reason in making out their brackets now has their brackets in shambles.

RE: End of Year 7
Quick question that I'm not sure any of you guys can answer: Who is the projected starting point guard next year? It doesn't look like there is a true point guard on the roster to me unless you count Jeremiah Davis (played point in hs I believe) or Guyn (in which case, UC is in trouble - my opinion), so I'm just wondering if anyone may know something I don't? Surely Mick's not going to count on a freshman combo guard to come in & run the point? Right? Mick is not a guy that gets caught off guard or doesn't have a plan... So maybe one of you can help me figure out what he is thinking here?

I believe Mick has been quoted as saying that JDIII is not a pg. I believe he is the best option though. Great handles and court vision.

UofL better come through and at least get to the FF.

Sorry guys, but I don't really give a damn how the BE does (outside of tourney credits).

Guyn is a good scrappy defensive role player who can use fouls, but unfortunately, not a starting PG.

I hope Caupain is the real deal.

Very surprised that we did not trap them or get any fast break points.
Preseason ranked in all of they publications, lots of hype, etc. No elite 8, no final fours, not sure if next season is any better.

I'm not surprised by the result. Creighton can shoot, hit free throws, and play smart bball. I'll take that over athletic low bball IQ. The better team won today.

Listened to the post game. Coach Davis called this a great year. Can't say I agree with his opinion. He highlighted we are one of the few BE schools to go to 3 straight NCAA's. I guess if this is their goal, then good for them. Hope they plan on making great 8's or Final 4's at some point.

First round exit last 2 of 3 years is not good. Huggs never did as poorly in any three year period until this year.

It is not at all easy: you've got to be good and lucky. Huggs' teams were plenty good, but not lucky. Hard to hold that against the coach. Cronin's teams just aren't that good.

Nice try. Beat Missouri and Texas in the first round the last two years.

2013 is UC's only first round exit. 2012 UC made the Sweet 16. 2011 UC won it's first game against Mizzou and lost to eventual tourney champ UConn.

That is a laughable justification. It was all luck, right.
