God... the 0-12 season is the least of our worries. We both should be talking about how our facilities compare to that Cajun Monster.

so you're saying that what you do recently is all that matters by bringing up lsu. nobody cares about lsu sucking because they're good now. now i'm really confused.

and why would i be worried about the cajun stadium? they don't understand supply and demand. our stadium is leed certified, self-sustainable, modern, ridiculous with amenities, unique and imposing from the freeway, and has a fantastic tailgate area and has a capacity appropriate for our fanbase.

No; I'm saying that people care about the highs. Nobody cares if you win one game, five games, zero games, or three games in an off year. They look at your accomplishments. Hell, if consistency was everything, USM would have been long gone to the Big East or better long before 2012. Please don't "play dumb" with me.... I understand you're embroiled in a pissing contest, but we all know the rules of the game here.

And all that crap about being "LEED certified" and having an appropriately sized stadium? That's an embarrassment. If ECU can fill a big stadium, you could, too... IF you wanted to. But you'll need to ditch that family-friendly AAA baseball mentality first. Doing so is CENTRAL to anything resembling success at either of oyr schools.

apogee is built to be expanded in 6 months by adding a second level over the student side. i think we know what we're doing. nice try.

And where will that put your capacity?

50,000. our original plans were 50,000 but there's not enough demand for unt football tickets because we suck.

there are countless other similarly attended games. dfw only supports a winner, or comes out when they know who we're playing.

This picture doesn't really scream "big time stadium" to me. I like MM Roberts and the Cajun Monster more... especially the Cajun Monster.

"Screw current demand" is basically what I'm saying. A Cajun Monster makes its own demand. And I think that expansion to 50,000 must be a proposal only, right? ULL will pull the trigger on this thing. I think it's in their nature.

The thing USM lacks here may not be leadership... it could be that we lack the relationship with the community that ULL has. USM is every bit the institution that ULL is, and probably more. We've just got too damned many townies pulling against us. Cajuns aren't like that, I guess.

Having a huge stadium has done nothing for Memphis or UAB. I'm sorry, you build for demand first and make it easily expandable.

Have you been to our stadium? I think you may have a mental picture that doesn't correspond to reality. You could lose Apogee in the bathroom at MM Roberts.

Apogee is huge. I've been to Hattiesburg. It looks imposing from the outside sure, but Apogee is about the same size from the alumni side and the eagle wing.

What would be ULL's ceiling? They won't get into that no name conference to the East because of Tulane and doubtful Big 12 gives them a call

I'm not trying to be mean. Let's just have a meeting of Small Stadiums Anonymous. Step 1 is admitting you've got a problem.

My name is AndreWhere and I have a small stadium.

I see our ceiling about the same as ECU. I do not see us getting the call for the BIG XII, but stranger things have happened ie Tulane.

If this thread is still about ULL. . . . I think either they or ASU would be the best add if Tulsa bolts. No offense, but I would have put both of them before some of C-USA's recent adds.
