*This was the third game today where a team had a sizable lead at the half, but saw that lead disappear. The Green Wave overcame a 9-point deficit at the half and as much as a 13-point Marshall lead in the second half to win the game and make it to the quarterfinals, thanks in large part to incredible shooting from downtown in the second period. Tulane's Ricky Tarrant hit a bank shot three-pointer with about 6 seconds left to seal the deal. The win snapped a four-game losing streak for Tulane. Marshall's disappointing season comes to an end with a 13-19 record. The Herd finished the year with a 1-15 record away from Huntington against Division 1 opponents. Tulane will play #1 seeded Memphis tomorrow at 6:00pm CT.

They seriously need to get rid of replay.

Not one to crab about officials or calls, but if a shot occurs after a foul how does the basket stand? All in all, just glad the season is over.

Wow, typical Herrion choke. To bad he got an extension after that NIT last year. We are not rich enough to buy out the last two years so we will get to see poor defense, free throw shooting, and way to many 3 point attempts by a bad 3 point shooting team. Not to mention Kane will graduate as a Junior and have the ability to transfer and play his final year for a good team if he wants. Just a sad season.

CUSA refs suck...replay is so necessary for those guys...it was the right call....just 4 minutes and a coffee break late

After our 0-fer football season, I feel your pain...fire him yesterday...sometimes you cannot afford to keep supplying band-aids....1 road win? That is painful and unacceptable.

I agree. I have never seen a ref make a retroactive call so long after a play.
