I'd *LOVE* for the Colorado Democrats to pass it and see MagPul pull up the 10-engine freight train of doom ... and take everything brick by brick and load it onto the train and haul it straight out of state USSR WWII style.

The Union Pacific and BNSF freight lines are right on their doorstep. They run to Texas and Wyoming, who've already made offers to cover relocation costs.

I wish this would happen in every state that has a gun manufacturing plant. I would also like to see soda companies leave NY. Sometimes the best votes you make are the ones with your feet.

Sioux Falls, South Dakota runs adds all the time in the Mpls market about the tax and living advantages of South Dakota. It really hasn't been successful, outside of smaller manufacturers who were already located close to the border.....

I don't hear these adds alot myself but Ill take you at your word they are out there..

Two points -

1) There is a difference between Hey "move here and youll save a bit of money" on taxes and "were going to make many of your products illegal in our state"

2) North Dakota has no metro area to rival MSP, no infrastructure to rival the Twin Cities. Texas can certainly provide them access to similar infrastructure as Colorado.

They ran a lot more during the Gubernatorial campaign - Emmer made it a campaign platform of sorts = Don't lose jobs to South Dakota!

Ahh I thought you meant lately.

I find it funny though that Dayton hides his money in Dakota while chasing snow birds...

RE: MagPul draws the line in the sand to Colorado
As for Colorado, it has gotten interesting here today. The democrat controlled legislature is holding hearings on their draconian gun bills. They are busing in out of staters like Mark Kelly, celebrity husband to Gabby Giffords. Last night a radio talk show host suggested to those that want to protect their 2nd amendment rights that they need to be there at the capitol today to let the legislators know that they disapprove strongly of this unconstitutional action.

Apparently, many are inside the building, some are outside the building protesting and many are driving around the capitol honking their car horns to demonstrate their displeasure.

Alas, I have to admit that this protest likely won't do any good. These dems have their minds already made up. We've been infested with Kalifornia lib ex-pats over the past 5 years and this state which used to be reliably red to purple has now gone blue and that swirling sound is us circling the drain.

It isn't a bad thing. Neither is being an astronaut. And I do sympathize with his situation. His wife will never be the same as she was.

What I don't like is his being a willing pawn in using his personal story regarding his wife to assault Constitutional rights. He is a big celebrity only because of what happened to Gabby and is using that to push for restrictions on those WHO HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH her shooting. The laws being considered will do NOTHING to stop criminals with guns, who cause most of the gun related homicides. He would not be a big celebrity if he was against any further efforts to undermine the 2nd amendment.

He's actually a "celebrity" because he's an astronaut, but whatever. He has as much right to speak out about the issue as you do.

My work includes selling holographic sights, scopes, scope mounts, etc. online. One of our items got pulled down because it mentioned how this piece fit on a couple different popular rifles. Guess which state doesn't let you name these guns in your advertisement...
