I wonder if the NEWS will hold up its "hard copy" of the signee lists for all schools until the Sunday edition since there is no Thursday NEWS.

There's a Friday edition.

I know that for most this is meaningless, but...

According to Yahoo, we signed the 96th overall class and the 10th in CUSA (however, 6 of those schools ahead of us are headed to the big east)

Anyone know why the Spain Park QB flipped to USM last week? Thought we had him pretty much locked up...

Better chance of starting there.

USM was terrible at qb last yr. He might win the job as a true freshmen.

We signed a four star quarterback. I won't lose any sleep over losing that kid.

Love this group of linebackers. Like to see another DT, maybe a juco. Three guys are listed as 'Athlete'. Will all three play WR?

A lot of tall perimeter players.

I suspect we can still sign 2 or 3 more local guys that play on one of the lines.

We've got room for 2 more I think.

Only thing I hate, so far, is the lack of lineman on either side signed. I hope they're trying for some late signees from other schools that oversigned or JUCOs.

Did Mike Miller (QB) vanish? He was on the roster last year.

Mullens was going to be behind two starters and a 4-star here, and USM have no legit D-1 starters on campus right now.

Also, is Maudrecus Humphrey eligible for this upcoming season? If he's coming from Arkansas, he's going to have to sit out, right?

He left Arkansas in May of 2012. His year to sit out started then. He will be eligible in the Fall. If he were going to another SEC program he would have to sit an extra year.

Mike left when Ben and Josh did. He is on team at Samford I was told.

Is the four star really a four star? I never saw any of the usual suspects list him as such, but it keeps getting tossed around, not that stars really matter too much.

Jeremiah Briscoe rated 4 stars by ESPN.

He was downgraded when he decided to join UAB.
