Turning up my nose? Curious why an Alabama State fan is here. Maybe he is a closet ECU fan. Don't know. As for 0-12, at least we didn't keep our JT around for a second year. Looking forward to our basketball games this year. By the way, how many winning seasons has ECU had in CUSA basketball? When was the last time ECU made the NCAA's? Also when was the last time ECU was in the CWS? Like I said, I am just curious. And yes we went 0-12 in football last year. Thank goodness we did, no way EJ could survive that. Of course we were ranked the year before. How long since ECU was ranked at the end of the year? Just curious.
I'm here to talk sports just like everyone else. This is a public forum right?
Works for me. Surely there is a CUSA team that brought you here though.
I'm a big UAB basketball fan and season ticket holder. I’m originally from Birmingham but I spent my high school years in New Orleans. I was recruited by a few CUSA schools so I’m pretty familiar with a few of the programs.
I figured you were a UAB fan. Don't know if you are aware, but USM has a qb that is supposedly transferring to Alabama State. He can play. In our disaster of a season last year, he was our best qb in my opinion. His name is Arsenio Favor out of Montgomery's Stanhope Elmore HS.

I heard a few people talking about him and I heard he was a prety good QB. Is he a dual-threat guy?
Don't worry guys. The ECU players/fans will become progressively more violent the closer we get to Wrestlemania but after April their bloodlust should subside.
The two post of mine you quoted......the first was said half hearted and second.........lol................can you read. I say in that very post the Bowden was wrong. In fact I said, I never his actions were right, it wasn't. But, I can see why he lost control.
Should I quote all the posts were every EVU says Bowden was wrong.
Oh, and Bonds post shouldn't taken seriously. He said after getting anger with some UTEP posters and more a baiting shot at them.

They stopped the game because of the player hanging on the rim and Konner had to tell the official that he got hit in the face. I know CUSA officials are bad and miss calls all the time but to almost miss two punches being thrown is crazy.
So he tackles him and throws two punches. It looks like he only stopped because his own player was falling on head.
Jackazz should be suspended for three games.
1 for the tackle and 1 for each punch.

Why doesn't anyone ever get suspended in hockey? They fight all the time and people don't even look up.

The only time that I have ever sat down and actually watched hockey matches is during the Olympics; and they don't fight. So obviously fighting is not expected. I don't think that fights even occur that often in collegiate hockey; so it is certainly not the same as "football and tackling."

The way I take it, you agree that what he did was wrong, which is great. Kudos to you. However, you stress "why" he did it, implying that Tucker instigated it and he is who started it, which IMO is ridiculous, foolish and comes off as a justification.. I'll take the criticism if any other "UTEP" fan disagrees with me.
...so OT, but it goes so much deeper that I will not post....lol at tennis...does anyone in cusa play shuffleboard?
You're right; it is off topic. However, I'd much rather post something so insignificant in an off topic thread than start an off topic thread to post something so insignificant.

#getthefuckouttaherewiththat
Ah, last I checked we are in C-USA for another entire season. We will be in the BE for all sports, just waiting on the C-7 to leave.
So, STFUWTS!
Just curious, why do you feel the uncontrolable need to defend ECU here? Who cares? It's a messageboard. Nobody here personally threw a punch. Nobody here was physically hit. At least half the post in this thread are beyond retarded. Bottom line..... Shamarr really showed his ass against UTEP and probably deserves worse than what he got. It's a ******* embarassment.
And, no offense but you've got to be the easiest guy to troll on csnbbs.

exactly, how in the world tucker started it I don't understand. First they said he through an elbow, now it is he hit him with the follow through hand. Not to mention Tucker then went to intentionally chop block another player. All this while thinking that bowden only deserves a 1 game suspension. It gets more and more ridiculous.
I'm starting to think that some ecu fans are just saying he did wrong, to be on the safe side, but I don't think they honestly believe it.
Bowden was suspended for a game and that was good with CUSA officials after reviewing the incident. He apologized personally to the guy he threw the swings at. Lebo stated that we all lose our cool sometimes and he believes it will make Shamarr a better person / player moving forward. And he's right, who out there hasn't lost it at least once and did something they regret. Let's move on.
