This is a link to the southern miss website. Notice the countdown to tipoff on the top right of the page. They are counting down the days until Memphis comes to town.

(I'm hoping this link works)

Their countdown clock has been up all season, but it wasn't always the Memphis game. They use a countdown clock for each next home game. Memphis is their next one. They have 3 straight on the road before they return home to play the Tigers.

That makes more sense. That's a long stretch with no home games.

Gonna be a DOG FIGHT playing them at their place on Feb, 9. They have won 23 straight home games, and just rolled Marshall. I'm curious to see how Memphis does with Marshall on Saturday. But we all know Southern Miss will be one of the toughest games of the year, and would be a HUGE win for the Tigers.

As a few talking heads said about Miami last night - they better make sure they avoid the hangover that comes from emotional highs like they just had. Their team just had its greatest game in the history of their program. It will NEVER happen again. If the players are as cocky as their fans are, they are going to get run out of the gym one night thinking that they have arrived.

The best part about those posts is how they ALMOST beat Arizona and ALMOST beat Wichita St.
Last year they ALMOST beat us twice. This isn't horseshoes or hand grenades, a loss is a loss.

RE: S Miss
At that time- they were convinced it meant they would waltz to the regular season and tournament titles.

Oops.

We won by 2 games.

With that, like a handful of other conference teams, they are good, and any good team can beat a better team if the better team plays poorly.

Same applies to ECU, Tulsa and SMU before Southern. Marshall is better than they played last night and better than their record, they were missing arguably their best player.

Lace 'em up...keep winning.

I think UCF stormed their court last year too. Cute.
