It's pretty simple for NIU. When they rebound and defend, they are competitive despite having a bad offense. NIU didn't do what they need to do to be competitive last time out. It's infuriating, but it doesn't have to be that way.

CMU isn't very good, neither is NIU, if NIU tries, they can win. Hopefully the Huskies respond to their last performance.

I am always optimistic at the start of the season. But year after year of this is really wearing on me. I refuse to paint a rosy picture when, IMO, it is far from it. This is the worst basketball playing I have seen in years - and we have played some pretty bad basketball for several years now. You may say that we are not bad, but I look at records and improvement from the previous year(s). This is my opinion. I am saying it as I see it. You can keep saying that we are the greatest team in the nation. That is your opinion. Why is YOUR opinion more valid than mine? Does your association with the team make your opinion more valid?

Nader is having a nice game. 3- 3pt shots with nice pure jump shot form.

Gotta give Monty a ton of credit. NIU was on the verge of getting blown out and he brought Nader back in with 2 fouls and Nader scored (I believe) 11 straight.

CM playing bad. NIU playing like team except for the last 30 seconds.
MM working the side lines, he can taste a big win.

Baker and Balls driving to basket then dishing makes a difference. When Nader is making his shots no one in this league can guard him. Gray another missed lay-up. Springs, Bolin and Christian are very disappointing. If the team played as hard as Monty coaches, they would be alright!

Good to see that they are able to drive to the basket. That's something that's been missing.
