Final football recap
Post your schools:
TOLEDO:
Toledo defeated Cincinnati who ended up the year ranked 22 in the coaches poll. Unlike the 2003 Pitt game, we beat a team at home that finished in the top25.
We were also defeated by 7 on the road to #24 NIU, and lost our bowl game to Utah State who finished 17th and was the highest ranked bowl opponent in Toledo history.

Akron:

Improved overall scoring margin by 15 points per game, mostly on the offensive side of the ball, but the hole Rob Ianello dug was so deep that two extra touchdowns a game wasn't enough to win even one more game than last year.

1. 11 wins and a bowl appearance for best year ever.
2. Top 25 theme: first win over Top 25 team and first Top 25 ranking.
3. Made it 3 in a row over the Zips.

So bad we fired the coach; but we still beat Central.

Also, WMU>UConn>Louisville>Florida>A&M>Bama.

1. Dysert broke Big Ben's record for career Miami passing yards
2. Dysert finished 20th in NCAA career passing yards
3. Victory over a ranked Ohio, first time in six years we beat them

Um, Miami > Ohio > Penn State > Temple > UConn > Louisville > Florida > A&M > Alabama. Go Hawks!

Forgot the 3rd straight win over rival BGSU.

I was going over the ranked teams we played, that is why I didn't mention BG. Plus it's no big thang anymore.

Well, it is a big thing to beat them, but it isn't tough anymore. 02-13-banana
