Side note:
Brent Musburger used to work in Dekalb(the DC). When he hosted NFL today he used to give his top 25 and put NIU at 25 the Sunday after they beat Wisc.

ESPN/ABC is probably crapping their pants right now as millions of tv's turn away from the game and won't be back.

Notre Dame won five games decided by a TD or less. They could just as easily have been 7 - 5 or 8 - 4 and playing in the Outback Bowl or something comparable. Alabama destroyed a lot of teams this year.

I remember that. This game is real close to turning into an epic beat down.

136 - 0; that would be the combined score of the three games Alabama played against Arkansas, Auburn, and Western Kentucky. Not to mention they beat Michigan, Tennessee, Missouri, and Mississippi State all by more than 30 points. Pretty ridiculous.

Someone should email Herbstreit and ask him if he is wasting 4 hours watching this game.

ND's defense was solid all-season long. I honestly thought they would keep it close. Ooops.
