Yep, not even worth discussing when they'll bend reality that way.

What was the situation with the technical foul that was called on you mid-way through the 2nd half?

"The official had come to me and said, 'I'll take it from you all day long, but not your players. One of your kids is complaining too much, and if he continues to do it I'm going to hit him where the sun doesn't shine' -- meaning a technical foul."

"I've never really heard that before from an official. And that's coming from a lot of years of coaching."

"There were a couple of calls that didn't go our way so I asked the official about them. He responded, 'Coach I've had enough out of you.'"

"I said, 'You told me a minute ago you'd talk to me all day long?'"

"He said, 'I've changed my mind.'"

"Three or four minutes later, whenever it was that I questioned a call again, I asked him what the difference was between two hand-check fouls and he gave me a 'T.' So it is what it is."

Sorry, I'd say that there's more to that story. This guy can spin a yarn.

:mafia:WHY would you doubt Hawk's version. Did you ever coach Basketball?? Well I did for 22 years and I find this story absolutely POSSIBLE WITH NO REASON to doubt it. Officials can be very ego centric. What would coach possibly have to gain by "spinning a yarn". STOP BEING SUCH A PESSIMIST.

Buttons where did you coach ? As for Hawk say we accept his version as accurate , a big if, you don't let it leave the lockerroom and place blame , publicly, on a player. Just HS stuff !!

Hey, I think you may have hit on my sister in law when she was a senior in high school.

To this guy's credit he flirted incessantly with her during the school year, and then asked her out a week after school was out. 03-puke

Hey, one of the head coaches at Comstock (I know his name, not sure whether he coached football or hoops, was a long time ago) hit on my sister in law. She was 17. You want to defend that?

As usual you know NOTHING about this, yet as always you stick your mugg into EVERYTHING.

Trust me, this happend, and it wasn't pleasant for her or her family. The powers that be blew it off because she had graduated. Other girls told our family similar stories.

The time frame, the school, and the years in coaching matches the resume of this guy.

This is over 20 years old. It happened, and yes I could name names (won't). If this is the guy, and judging by the time frame I'm guessing it is, he's a total putz. There's even more to the story than I'm telling.

If it's not him he still has his anonymity, and he probably knows who I'm talking about as well.

Right, that's why she told her parents, that's why they called the superintendent. Like I said, how can you defend this?
