I'll just throw my 2 cents in here. Since ECU is a football-only invite as it is, I don't really care about losing basketball powerhouses like Seton Hall, Depaul, and Providence. Football drives the conference. If losing the Catholics hurts the TV deal, yes, that would suck... but it'd still be more $$ than we were making in C-USA.

If we lose UCONN and Cincy as well... I'd say USM, Louisiana Tech, & Marshall fight it out for the 2 spots. I'm biased towards Marshall and USM due to our history, but was extremely pumped to see Louisiana Tech being added to C-USA before we got our BE invite. If we could somehow get all 3... perfect. But I want our conference schedule to include UCONN and Cincy, for attendence reasons.

If somehow ECU, Marshall, & USM could be in the same conference and share some larger TV $... I wouldn't care what the name of the conference is.

So hypothetically speaking, if the Big East was to implode, which former CUSA members would you welcome back?

I don't think we'll see that unless ECU comes back to C-USA. I don't think USM has the dough to pony up to join another conference. I could be wrong. I mean I'm reading alot into what Monken said about whatever conference we're in.. So in the hell knows what the General is cooking up or if Monken couldn't think of C-USA's name.

In case anyone cares to stop for a minute, technically we are all in the same bag. Best to make it work with what you have and not let other people outside of "our" conference dictate how we should feel.

Actually I have a feeling that USM will get pulled up. I hate it because I actually like playing USM. I hated it when Houston and Memphis left, but I understand that schools have to look out for thier best interest. But what I don't get is how one set of fans are making everyone turn on each other. SMH

Temple needs to be in a confernce with Rice and FAU. That way we can have the annual "Best of the Nest" award.

I actually don't have anything against any of the current or past conference mates.. I just enjoy battling back and forth.

I don't think USM gets pulled though.. I think USM will stay in C-USA til the bitter end.
