That is completely baseless. Over the years several players have not seen the field because their grades were low. You guys need to stop making up crap in the swamp.

This kind of thing shows why as a non-AQ head coach you shouldn't turn down very many high paying opportunities. His career is basically dead now.

2 things-
1- I don't think his career is dead by a longshot. He'll be a FBS coach in 2013 guaranteed....
2- Is his decision any better than Skip Holtz?

This has to be something behind the scenes. He'll be a head coach or major coordinator somewhere next year.

The only thing you do wonder about this is there another part to the story. It seems bizarre to have him fired after only 1 bad year.... Like there has to be something else to the story- FIU can't be THAT dumb to fire him after 1 bad year.

Allegations like that are really bad if not backed up by sources.
