Just curious, is that the one on Stirling Rd? I was looking at that one as well.

Yep, that's the one (2500 Stirling road, I believe).

Boca/Deerfield is about a 25 minute drive to the stadium. You might get better rates staying a little more north and off the beaches The beaches 5-10 minute drive with plenty of stuff to do. I've heard ND maybe working out at FAU's Stadium.

Biscayne Bay Marriott! Happy Birthday to me.
Future in-laws gave us their points! Guess that means they like me?

I'm there as well.

I've stayed there for work, pretty nice hotel overall, right by the Heat Arena, and also a very short drive over the bridge to South Beach.

Sun Life Stadium is easy to get in and out of-Exit 2X Florida Turnpike.
Parking is not cheap, but easy. Plus your Turnpike cost. There are prepaid Turnpike passes availible at reststops and places like Publix if you don't want to sit at Toll Booths. Some of the hotels, Sport Bars, Strip Clubs will run transportation.Tri-rail will probably run like they do for the Super Bowl.I would definitely try to carpool with some heavy duty tailgating. For fun, there are some nice casinos in the area-Hard Rock, Isle Casino, etc. I know there are a number events, concerts,etc-some are free. Of course trips to South Beach or the Upper Keys are doable.
An afternoon of rumrunners/Red Stripes at Islemorada or the Clevelander is a unique experience. Plenty to do here- some is low cost or you can blow alot of $$$.

Here's where I'm staying. A couple Florida State Semenhole fans highly recommended this place to me:

Although I'm sure it will be filled with FSU fans, I was able to snag a pretty reasonable rate.

Problem is not with the hotels. It's with the obscene cost of the airfare. Bad timing to go to Miami in winter over a holiday, but whatcha gonna do?

Staying at the Embassy Suites at Miami Airport. Got a real deal on airfare/hotel through Travelocity. FYI-you can save a bunch of $ if you are willing to go down on 12/31 instead of the 29th or 30th...

I know, it's been so funny seeing all these old names from the wayback machine (KingButter for instance).
