That's gonna be a nice road trip game (to play a quality team).

Welcome to CUSA! 04-cheers

And GOOD LUCK TODAY!

I agree. Stay in Nashville... real fun town!!! Go to game... good opponent!! Easy travel. No offense against Tulane but MTSU is more than a solid replacement for them.

I think it's only like 5 hours from Huntington. I'm looking forward to payback from the NIT loss

Katrina came awfully damn close to doing it. As a tourist town, New Orleans is cool. Great music scene for jazz. Gotta love Mardi Gras even though I have never been to one. But Nashville is a cleaner and safer city with a great music scene and plenty to do there as well.

I'm really excited too. Lookk forward to several easy road trips to CUSA teams. UAB, USM, even Marshall. Wishing we were able to start CUSA play next year. Nothing against the SunBelt, but now that we are leaving, i am just ready for it to happen.

Nashville =/= Murfreesboro

But MTSU is a great add for C-USA. I thought they were the premier program in the SBC for a while now and was frankly confused when they weren't added earlier this year. But now they're in and I am sure they will be great for C-USA.

Only 30 mins apart. Close enough.

There are times I can get to Murfreesboro from Nashville faster than I can one side of Murfreesboro to the other...

New Orleans = (a lot like Vegas) the kind of drunken annihilation where you can't recall just exactly what happened or what you experienced the night before.

Nashville = the kind of drunkenness where you wake up the next day feeling like shizzle but you can still recall the finer moments of the night/trip.

As for which you prefer...to each his own.

I certainly wouldn't discourage anyone from staying in Nashville as it's a really fun city. Having said that, don't hesitate to stay in Murfreesboro either, lots of growth in the last decade. Lots of new hotels(unfortunately nicer hotels are all at least a couple of miles from campus) and a pretty decent tailgating scene and several bars and restaurants walking distance from the stadium/tailgating areas.

Sorry, for my road trippin' purposes it does.

Enjoyed having you, but you're history at this point. Have fun with your new "friends".

We're gonna get busy making the new ones.

And, if you don't mind, I'll be staying in Nashville when I drive up to watch my team play the Raiders.

04-cheers

I'm pretty stoked about MTSU, too. Nashville is a hell of a place to spend a weekend.

Happy to have MTSU. Solid program. Easy drive from my house. I live in Gadsden so easy drive. Love their fans too.

I have spent a lot of time in the Nashville area. Murfreesboro may not equal Nashville but they are only @ 45 minutes apart. Not a bad trip from stadium to hotel. Great weekend for MU fans.
